The NAACP Baltimore County Branch has officially opened nominations for officers and members-at-large for the 2026 year. All members whose memberships have been in good standing since April 1st are eligible to submit a petition form for the purpose of nominating yourself or nominating another member for a particular office or members-at large. Petition Form:
1.) On the Petition Form, complete the bottom portion and please get at least three signatures as endorsements. To facilitate the process, please send a group email up to four people of your choice for the endorsements.
Consent Form
The consent form is you the "Nominee" accepting the nomination.
2) If you accept the nomination, Fill and Sign the Consent Form (top portion).
3.) Forward the Petition Form/Consent Form to the Unit Secretary Email: bcnaacp.nstewart@gmail.com.
These are the following positions that are open for nominations:
*The Members at Large are eligible to become Committee Chairs of the Branch Committees:
ACT-SO, Communications, Economic Development, Education, Freedom Fund, Health, Labor and Industry, Legal Redress, Membership, Political Action, and Women in NAACP.
We will have a meeting on Wednesday October 7th, where the nominations will be presented to the branch members. Please refer to the Elections Manual, "The October Meeting of the General Membership" section on page 8-10 that provides additional details on nominations.
On Tuesday, November 17nd 2026, the election of officers and Members-At-Large will be held.
All members whose membership is current 30-days prior to November 17th are eligible to vote.The election will be conducted by the National Office through Election Buddy. The poll will be open from 4pm-8pm. The ballot will be sent using members' cell phone numbers and email addresses. Members are strongly encouraged to contact the secretary, Natasha Stewart (bcnaacp.nstewart@gmail.com) to confirm that their information is correct.
