The Freedom Fund Committee strives to recognize the hardworking efforts of community leaders that are making a difference within Baltimore County. The Annual Freedom Fund Banquet is the event where we acknowledge the noteworthy service of these leaders within our community.
The NAACP Freedom Fund began in 1953 (on a national level) as a ten-year program to intensify efforts to complete the job of emancipation.
NAACP has kept the Freedom Fund tradition alive through Freedom Fund events hosted by various branches throughout the United States. This exemplifies the nation wide determination of NAACP members to maintain the legacy. For information about our Freedom Fund event contact Raymond English at firstname.lastname@example.org.
