The Economic Development Committee seeks avenues for economic growth and opportunities to decrease racial and ethnic economic disparities. Self-sustainability, workforce development and sound financial management practices are keys to economic progress.
We encourage the development and expansion of minority-owned businesses. We work for increased development of decent affordable housing in our communities. We advocate for improving financial literacy and increasing the access of financial services for minorities.
